So very sad to hear of Peter’s death. He was a senior member of my Student Services team at Sandown High towards the end of our careers. Peter was a giant of a man in wisdom, intellect and charisma. He was gentle and kind and gave good counsel. He knew his pupils and their parents and he went out of his way to help them. He had wit and knowledge that singled him out on the team. He was always straight and honest in his work and I found him fully supportive at all times. Although I haven’t seen Peter for about 6 years now, he has been occasionally in my thoughts and I shall miss him. I am just glad I had the honour and pleasure of knowing him and working with him. I respected him greatly. Rest in Peace Peter and let light perpetual shine upon you. Keith Thompson (and Lesley).
